Do you know the “Six Degrees of Separation” theory? It is the concept that all people are six or fewer social connections away from each other. While we can’t prove it, we are definitely big fans — and even go a little further. We believe in the cosmic interconnectedness that all humans share together, along with nature and the stars. Sometimes we simply feel more “at home” in certain places or with certain people — a feeling of true belonging, a feeling of self-actualization of the soul. Symmetrically, we feel lost and lonely when apart, longing for that internal, early-autumn-sunset warmth. At Zavrazka, our mission is to bridge these two feelings — from longing for belonging, through interconnectedness, to reconnection.

We want to find the people that you somehow got separated from and are now looking to find again — be it deep family roots, your best university buddies, or a lovely lady or gentleman you had a short seaside romance with one summer twenty years ago.
We do that through extensive online research, using our own social networks, and on-the-spot visits to locations of story origin — including speaking with town representatives, looking into public people archives (where available), and, last but not least, interviewing locals.
Apart from doing the research on your behalf, we also offer personal, masterfully curated heritage tours.
