Zavrazka is a small father–daughter start-up.
I’m Vessie, with a background in International Relations and Anthropology. I have strong research skills, natural, avid curiosity, and determination, along with a long-standing passion for stories and for making acquaintances on trains. I’ve always been fascinated by people and the invisible threads that connect us. I’m also quite sociable and easy to talk to (from what I’ve heard). I recently moved back to Bulgaria after spending several years abroad, ready to start something meaningful and close to my heart.
My dad, George, is an Agronomist — the most patient and calm person I know. He’s steady, reliable, and methodical, with a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of people. We share a love for plants, soil, and land — and a sense of rootedness that connects us both to nature and to our origins.
My return to Bulgaria coincided with my dad’s retirement, and that timing became the spark that inspired this project.
One day, one of his old friends called, reminding us of a story from ten years ago: my dad once received a call from the town hall of his small village. Someone had asked for his contact details — it turned out to be one of his two best university friends. They reconnected and soon found their third “musketeer,” who had been living in Ireland for over 20 years.
It was such a heart-warming reunion — proof that true bonds don’t fade, just wait to be rekindled.
That story inspired us to help others find their missing connections too.
